just a tip, your have a lot of musical drive but making a point to tune your guitar every time will make a big difference. Your playing good chords but they sound not so good because of the tuning issue.. GL

There is no point saying Zippy is unique as we all are. The fact that he plays well is another matter :) Originality is a plus and not a merit in absolute terms. it would be too easy! :)) Hi!

tis tru zippy and his music are 1 in a million.. in fact if your going to go with the out of tune edge.. I would study which EXACT out of tune-ness is optimal, then stick with that.. say for example both e strings one e a semitone flat the other a semitone sharp then despite sounding dissonant it will have a structural genius to it. Awful never sells kind of awful can, like the shaggs.

agree..there is room for him to adjust.. i really hear a vast improvement and to his credit he is not consciously changing as a ploy in marketing...He is naturally evolving into his own...thats when ya get a * biNGo* imo. and ya gotta admit he's got his "STRUMMIN' DOWN" ..

Zippy, I like the Slipping Back lyrics. I would put that guitar run up front and in between sections (V/ch or the bridge-in/out-ish kind of places). I think if developed as a collab, that tune could be even better. Start with the lyrics at like 7:16 or 7:49 on this vid and drop the guitar run right after the vocals start. Put it in front of or behind the vocal s ection and keep the vocals going a while before it appears again. Please tune your guitar.

Volbeat are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal and rockabilly. Their current line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, guitarist Rob Caggiano, drummer Jon Larsen and bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen. The music is ok The vocals are pure crap Not sure of the relevance of this YouTube link ?
