I'd be curious to hear how this, or other's like it actually are as far as latency - they tell you emphatically to not use your direct signal for monitoring and to use the signal off the server in phones. I get that but then don't you get a bit of latency where you pluck a note, it then has to make the trip to the server, get mixed with the rest of the singlas and then streamed back to you for listening?

Yeah I cant see how they dont get latency. But I am going to poke at it when I have some time.

Also, who the hell still uses Sourceforge. Last I remember that was a malware infested wasteland.

Latency .. for most people, I would guess .. probably isn't that big of a thing?

Good Stuff but We need gigabit internet fiber connection throughout the US, even in the most remote areas all this is being done in places where 1000Mbps is offered not only Audio but Video real time Even with the Path, Fiber to Rack to Fiber Module, to Switch to Patch Bay to Server on both sides latency is not noticed.

Yeah we desperately need new network infrastructure in U.S., but its going to be a while. Even if the tier ones all put fiber in there are still a ton of tier 2 and 3 operators that would need to follow suit. Countries that are putting in brand new infrastructure are lucky that they can just build it on fiber.

It's all about the Trunks at one of my office locations, We have gigabit fiber to home and Bizz throughout the community no copper. https://ilsr.org/broadband-speed-light/ As for the Tech we are already doing this in situational awareness training Virtual sets, LED Walls, Example would be Mutable fire fighters from 3 different fire stations fighting a fire on a oil rig not only visually seeing the same thing in real time, but all visual and verbal coms as if in the same location pretty much what they use to make the Mandalorian This can simple be a Drummer Guitar Player Bass singer etc...all in the same room jamming and with real space freedom no wires no headsets...Fluid " ORGA" what missing in our digital world in the confront of our dwellings if ever thing does not burn :) I expect LED Walls to be as common as microwaves that going the way of the doo doo for 3d food replicators plates cups and all..
