So I had this idea for a song in my head and decided to record some guitar tracks to it this weekend. So far it's got a chill intro, followed by a heavier muted verse (or could be 2) , and then an insane chorus. Obviously it still needs a ton of work...a bridge part, a second chorus , some bass, drums, lyrics, vocals etc. it's just an idea. I may even add some atmospheric synth to the intro too at some point. I believe it’s in D Major but borrows from G major/E minor. Don’t have the bpm handy at the moment but I believe the intro is around 90 and the main riff and chorus are at 150. Any ideas or suggestions? I kind of want the bridge to be similar to the intro but a little varied. It’s fun droning that open D string with the other notes.

Nice! Going to try and find some time to flesh out a bridge part when I get off work today. Also going to work out that timing thing in the intro, I did notice that too.

Also any tips on cleaning that part up? I?m admittedly a newb when it comes to Pro Tools and have been struggling with synching up adjacent regions. I?ve read and watched tons of YouTube videos and tried different things like the trimmer tool, nudging, TCE trimming, various faders etc. I did recently figure out the beauty of using Sends and AUX tracks for plugins, etc. So, that’s some progress I guess lol Any tips?

Oh, I also formally invited you to the collab. If you feel like doing any lead guitar work too, that would be cool. I may try my hand at doing a lead, but I am not the greatest lead player at that tempo. Or perhaps a dual lead back and forth type thing like Iron Maiden does a lot would be cool. Just spit-balling here :)
