My first attempt at video production, using Lighworks and footage captured last weekend. Have no idea what I am doing tbh.

that's rad, it definitely fits the vibe of the song. there's some nice little cuts in there too. i like towards the end when you put in just a little bit of um train concrete stuff? for a quick sec. and the double exposureish look that's in there as the countryside rolls by. well done.

I would like to say it was all deliberate and planned that way but, to be honest, I was kinda making it all up as I went along with lots of mistakes. A bit like my music productions!

It is really nice, and it fits the music perfectly. You could try to add a few slow pans over some still images. It would add some variation and also some landmarks in terms of where in the song you are. Pick a simple image with a theme, for example a picture of a silhouette on a dark street or something like that. I experimented with that sort of thing a while back but I gave up mainly because it took a lot of work to put anything decent together. Which I assume you have already realised :-). EDIT: I have just looked up Lightworks, which I didn't know. Did you use the free- or the pro version for your video?

Sounds like good advice, thank you Ole. Yes, still at the learning stage where everything is all fiddly and takes a long time but, like with anything, I am sure will become more fluid over time with practice. Am using the free version which has limitations on download quality but still lots of functions. YouTube tutorials has helped!
