I am far from a windows expert these days...my windows skills dropped off with XP. However, a few questions that may help the windows experts here: does it boot into the bios? can you boot it into recovery mode? if both are yes, have you tried to run the troubleshooting stuff?

im with srir on this... ex-windows user.. but booting into safe mode is your first step.. then theres a built in recovery feature.. where you can go back in time and maybe if its something that happened in that time period.. like a ill fated download.. you should be able to right the ship.. look on line for boot safemode.. If it wont boot safe mode.. thts not good .. may need an expert to visit $ ps also have you backed up your system? Lots of good online storage sites for low bucks for such events.. good luck.. dont give up!!

Is the hardware all good ? Did the last Windows update cause your system failure ? I don't run Win 10, but these are some things to look at.

>in windows the processor is in 4 cores and i have 2 prosessor dual core. I run Win 10 .. so .. OK what does the above mean? Windows (which is software) does not have 'cores' .. your CPU chip has cores. You might have 2 processors if you are running a supper streamer computer. So I need to know your hardware specifications. Windows 10 is pretty capable .. even is you get a 'blue screen' crash it will reboot and Win can usually repair any software problem. DON'T PANIC!! OK.. so FIRST .. do this --> *IF* this is a desktop unit .. unplug everything from your computer cabinet (everything! but remember where plugs go!) remove the side of the cabinet .. locate the cpu chip (there is a mini fan ontop of a ribbed heat sink above it). Look for dust build up in the heat sink ribs .. and clean any dust out. REASONING: if a cpu chip overheats .. hardware can act erratic. This is the most common reason for erratic hardware activity. You can blow any dust out using something like a hair dryer (ON COOL not on HEAT!) but use something to keep the mini-fan blades from spinning while you do this. NEXT: take your finger and spin the fan cooling fan blades? are they moving freely? Does the bearings need lubrication (I'll tell you how to do that). SECOND: use your finger and press on any connector clips AND press on your memory in the slots: REASON: memory boards can sometimes 'walk' up out of the slot due to vibration of expansion/contraction (hot/cold cycles). If the boards are not making good contact you will feel it. THIRD: Pull the battery out of it (looks like a big 'watch' battery - it is about the size and look of a nickle coin). Leave it out over night. REASON: if boot memory got jumbled - it will reset to factory settings when you replace the battery the next day. These are all non-evasive steps that will not hurt anything. It is something I do twice a year to prolong it's life. Boot your computer and tell me (in PM) what happens. If it boots into Windows but acts erratic still - we need to look for virus and malware - especially a root kit. PM me.

Plenty folks willing to help, but you need to give more info... -Does it post?...(can you get into the bios?) if so, -What happens on W10 boot?(it should fix itself... if it doesn't, -where does it stop?)

Hi, thanks for helping. No computer hard for me to reply quickly. Boot on BIOS. No recovery possible. I try command prompt impossible to open the parameter for the prossessor. I have a custom not usual computer comming from a game business ( they make games for console psx, xbox...). I have 8 memory slot and more than 8 pci and pcie slot. So its a big Desktop thing. I realy have 2 physical prossessor with 2 fan. The computer was running only with one core and give me hard time on the music Side. So i look on the setup and change the processor setting to run at 4 core. But ... thing turn bad...

Sorry you are having troubles, my friend. I'm a mac-guy so I don't know much about your setup. I hope you get it resolved soon!

>So i look on the setup and change the processor setting to run at 4 core. But ... thing turn bad... OK.. you have a gamer desktop .. so you are probably right that you have two processors and each is a dual core. How do you know that the second processor was not being used?? I believe that (not sure) that Windows would automatically recognize that you have two processors and it would automatically use both .. *IF* the software program you were running was coded to use both. It may be that (not sure) that the setting that you changed in Windows .. from 2 to 4 cores .. was a setting that told Windows how many cores each of your processors have. You probably have dual (2) core processors and not 4 core processors - so that answer would be 2 and not 4. So let us be SURE of how many cores EACH of your processors have (2 each or 4 each). What is the specs for your processors? I assume they are Intel 2 core as 4 core processors are very expensive. Gamer apps are coded to use two .. 2 core processors // but I doubt that DAWS are coded to use two (maybe $$ versions of ProTools are as used by major Hollywood studios) Name and model of your processors?? DAW you are using?? Amount of RAM memory?? Number of tracks usual used when mixing?? Free space in HD that the DAW is installed on??

Battery tips didnt work. Systeme boot but fail to load Windows ( bad Config info) automatic repair counldnt repair. Impossible to reset too. Processors are intel Xeon w3520 2666mhz (only thing i see for the moment , i need to remove couple of things to see more). Look to have 64mb of ram ddr3 1066 but i only see 24mb on info system on the BIOS. I have more than 16tb of storage via 2 4bay and internal storage In the BIOS prossessor i have hyper threading not active, all core active, cpuid desactive.. I am 90% virtual instruments since m'y last hell crusade. Mostly sell all during the last year. So mixing generaly more than 20 track. I recently Buy a umc202hd to replace my RME multiface...im running Fl studio . A major game studio have give this big piece of aluminium but i think is not for me .

>Systeme boot but fail to load Windows Shit!!! Not good. >OK these *ARE* 4 core processors. This is a serve .. lots of muscles here. >64mb of ram ddr3 There something wrong here .. you *should* see gigabytes (XXgb) of RAM not megabytes (XXmb). I would guess this machine would have about 16gb of RAM installed at minimum. Stop right there .. !! we need to check this memory thing again. There are two types of memory // 1) ROM is 'read only memory' and this loads your BIOS etc.. that boots the computer and looks at the computer parts // 2) RAM 'read access memory' is where the OS (Windows operating system and other programs like your DAW, etc) are loaded. Windows will NOT load into only 16mb of RAM. 1) Give me the maker and model of the computer so I can look up the specs. You say it boots up .. but doesn't load Windows (right?) .. as it boots up .. can you get into the configuration menu?? 2) Count the RAM memory slots and tell me how many memory sticks are there in the slots. This that you wrote: "Look to have 64mb of ram ddr3 1066 but i only see 24mb on info system on the BIOS." .. is what we have to take a look at. Either you are reading it wrong // or // there is a memory problem and we have to take a look at the installed RAM sticks Don't panic .. step by step :) take your time :)
