Hello everyone,
Despite the profile name, this is MikeJM. I am using my brother's account he made here a while back, and will soon be deleting this message, as I don't want to involve his likeness and name in all of this.
I first want to apologize for closing my account and getting people worried. It was a selfish decision, and it drug multiple people down with me into worry.
It had nothing to do with anyone here or the site in general, more with my own life and just needing to separate from everything for a while and do some soul searching. On the flip side of that, I will be fine.
Part of me commenting on this is that, though I'm still kind of lost, I saw that multiple people are getting worried about me, and the worst thing that could happen is if the whole site started getting thrown into the drama that I created.
Honestly, it reminded me that through everything that life throws at you, you have to get back up and face it, because more people are counting on you than just yourself.
I will try to reinstate my account (can't even stay gone for 24 hours! What a drama king lol) but will spend probably the rest of the holidays - aside from things that need my attention - in a bit of a break.
You guys have been with me through it all, and I hope that will not end with me stupidly pressing a button. Have a happy holiday season!

You can always open a new account and we will all still be here dealing with our own little dramas. You are in good company and always are welcome to share your drama with me, that's what friends do.
Well, if I knew ahead of time it was this easy to get back in, I would have prolonged it longer so more people would worry! lol No . . . I'm glad that I was able to come back and keep the damage to a minimum. Thanks Ricky . . . couldn't imagine a world without the friends I've made here!
Don't blame yourself for being humane , it happens to all of us Don't worry about your friends worrying they here for that too
Hey Mike, no need to close out...just hang a sign on your profile "had enough of you apes for awhile, got real life to do"...go away..and then when you miss us (in a couple of days, weeks, months or years) get on back in here!!! Seriously....you know you will always be welcomed back here:)
Hey Mike.. so glad you are still here. You are the opposite of drama king and are such an extremely talented writer and sensitive person. Please....Don?t ever change! Hugs!:)
Mike , if it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing a couple of years ago. Got fed up with myself and on that spur of the moment clicked that same button. We all have issues as we are all imperfect. The greatest man who ever lived once said " Happy is the man that is aware of his spiritual need" Put that first and other things tend to fall in place a little easier. Hang in there! PS Mike, the only difference between your quitting and my quitting was nobody noticed I had left. Ha! \0/ :) :)
Hey guys, thank you. I will be deleting this in a little bit as mentioned, but will leave it up so I can mention how appreciative I am of everyone here. Everyone here . . . everyone is appreciated. And for a second, I forgot that you guys appreciated me that much. As mentioned I left momentarily for non-Kompoz reasons, but I forgot that impacted more than me. All I need is a bit of soul searching this holiday season, and I'll be back . . . and will definitely pop back in here and there in the meanwhile. I'm not even going to sugarcoat it or make it something extra . . . there are no words to say other than a sincere "Thank You" :)
Hi Mike, Glad to hear that you're still going to be around. Your contributions and kindness are greatly appreciated here. Hope you have a great festive break and come back to the Kompoz family re-energised to create some more great musical collaborations
Nice to hear about this outcome for you, Mike. I wonder if we (meaning everyone) now being available to others, (via the internet) .. and the sometimes expectation of others to always be responsive & interactive, is a healthy thing, all the time? No profound thought here .. before, these amazing sites & devices existed, .. everybody got their "bit of a break", routinely.
Take it easy Mike and wishing you well with whatever you have to deal with. :)
