Ahhh. Friend ... I would wish for a penny of fame, but I never imagined such a high flight. To the great we salute, and mortals like me, the flow of time leads.

Follows my commercial, after all is not so big, but it is simple. The Portuguese version is very interesting and in another musical genre, but there is no way to show it here. https://www.kompoz.com/music/collaboration/898227/file/979023/1

Just to clarify: the language is French, the singer is Belgian.

Blame Napoleon on that one without his ''folie des grandeurs'' even u would be speaking french as a respectable frenchman (tho ur french is very good) NOW Brel is a belgian french singer , he made his career mostly in France , he's part of the french culture without no doubt And if i recall when he retired , he went to France (Les Marquises) Bitter dutchman

I never heard this song. I love it, Doc. Very touching. <3 The words are almost biblical... ;) just saying.

comment.user.userName PLUS

DocDaFunk   commented 6 days ago

U welcome , it's kinda biblical because he uses a lot of paraboles , he's from the poor north region(catholic) 70 years ago religion was still strong in Europe and u had to study bible at school Humans are extreme creatures : Until the revolution , France was called ''The daughter of church'' and today if u display a catholic cross jewelry at school , french peoples go mad...
