I have a 9yrold guitar student~im pushing to use his voice. Think Dead Zone "the ice is gonna break".. Ok dont get the reference, but can help? Please drop a line here, or PM me if your a vox person wanting your tool kit kept private. I would provide a vox track to clean, so i can drop it in some work from some fantastic players here who have helped me with it. I have separate private project just for this task. This is some kind of blues/jazz/ragtime tune and I really don't know for what instruments to ask for help. Maybe drums (brushes)? The guitar is tuned really low (DF#BEAD) to mimic baritone guitar, so I don't know if bass would fit in. If you can "hear" some instruments that would fit in, please suggest. Thanks. Oh yes, this "A Capella" ending is just a joke, so you can neglect it (I just couldn't resist).

WHAT WOULD THEY BE SINGING? Another wonderful collab with Pascal, Mario, Kev, and Tarjei. It started with Pascal's gorgeous and haunting composition. I combined and adapted two of my lyrics ('What Songs Would Elvis be Singing' and 'What Would John Lennon Say') to fit the music. Mario and Kev added their brilliant rhythm work on bass and drums. "Tracing The Scars" There are so few artists here who can take a title and turn that into something that totally exposes you, expresses what you felt as you wrote the music. Mike Patterson is one, and Sha is (was?) another. I honestly love this person. Not in a relationship way - I'm happily married, but as a human; she shared her story and I was privileged to write music over time that captured it for her. I haven't heard from her since Covid, and I know she wasn't well... I fear the worst. Sadly, given her life we'll probably never know unless she comes back here one day and punks me, lol. I wish for that.

I write a lot of different genres, but most influenced and interested in pop, rock, R'nB, and jazz. Looking for a lyricist and singer, as I have lots of songs. Done my years of university for music for bass, piano, and writing and arranging, and looking for someone who wants to do more than just a song or two together. I could simply sit in the background and write and record the music, and have someone else take the stage with their singing. I probably write 4 or 5 songs a week, so there's lots of choices, but if you don't use a good DAW and a good microphone, we're a long ways apart.
