Hi! A neophyte member of this site, only a beginner guitar player, with a voice that scares both children and animals, I've found a lot of comfort and strength during these troubled times in the songs of my musical heroes; people like Jackson Browne. So, with time on my hands, all the hubris and courage one can get in a (small) bottle and nothing to lose but my dignity, I decided to take a shot at writing my first song. It's tentatively entitled "Don't Meet Your Heroes," and includes possible guitar chords. I've got an idea for a melody. I'd be grateful if you would check it out; elated to receive constructive criticism; and positively giddy if you could help me make it "come alive." Cheers Alex
