Everyone is welcome here, and should feel welcome! This is a wonderful site, but it's also a subset of this whole internet phenomenon where we misunderstand things and say things we wouldn't say to each other in person. I know I have said things I regret . . . and conversely I've been hurt. This isn't me preaching . . . this is from experience! Last time I posted something like this it was out of my own struggle, but now I'm trying to make peace here. This is not to take sides . . . I'm on everyone's side! And if causes more trouble than good (a fight happens in this thread) I will delete it. Always extend an olive branch, it can really help things, and no one thinks the less of you for it. But what do I know. :) Everyone has a place in this wacky family . . . let's never forget that!

The Manhattan Transfer is a Grammy award-winning jazz vocal group founded in 1969 that has explored a cappella, vocals, swing, standards, Brazilian jazz, rhythm and blues, and pop music. there have been two editions of the Manhattan Transfer, with Tim Hauser the only person to be part of both. The first group consisted of Hauser, Erin Dickins, Marty Nelson, Pat Rosalia, and Gene Pistilli. the second version of the group, formed in 1972, consisted of Hauser, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel, and Laurel Massé. In 1979, Massé left the group after being badly injured in a car accident and was replaced by Cheryl Bentyne. the group's long-time pianist, Yaron Gershovsky, accompanied the group on tour and served as music director. Trist Curless from the Los Angeles a cappella group m-pact became a permanent member in October 2014 following Hauser's death.

I haven't been up on Kompoz Studio but today I did stop in to see what's new and there is nothing there. Either I just can't find any track etc or it isn't getting anyone to bother using it. Has anyone else notice this?

Hey everyone, I just received the music for one of my old rock songs from a friend. I'm planning on asking him to tweak some thing, but before I do, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or wanted to contribute anything to the song. You are always more than welcome to! Even feedback is okay. :) As of now, it's called "I Don't Wanna Stay." Thank you in advance! :D

I'm only working one or two days a week right now depending upon demand so I have time to do things I've always wanted to do. There's a song I've loved for many years from Alan Parsons Project "Pyramid" It's called "The Shadow Of A Lonely Man". Originally sung I think by John Miles (I will have to bring the key down a little!). If anyone is up for giving it a go as a PRIVATE collaboration then please give me a shout. It's purely a self indulgent thing and definitely not for public release - a singers song if you will

A little project in self isolation... my 1984 Aria Pro II, now has locking tuners, new bridge piece, switches from single to double coil on both set of pickups, and a new Bigsby Bar. It sounds so good! Let me know if you would like some lead work on a piece.

MURDER MOST FOUL by Bob Dylan It was a dark day in Dallas November 63 The day of haunted infamy President Kennedy was riding high Good day for living and a good day to die Being led to to the slaughter like a sacrificial lamb He said ?wait a minute boys you know who I am?? ?Course we do we know who you are,? Then they blew off his head why they were still in the car 2: Shot down like a dog in broad daylight Was a matter of time and the time it was right You?ve got unpaid debts, we?ve come to collect We?re going to kill you with hatred without any respect We?ll mock you and shun you and put it in your face We?ve already got someone here to take your place 3: The day they blew out the brains of the king Thousands were watching no one saw a thing It happened so quick so quick by surprise Right there in front of everyone?s eyes Greatest magic trick ever under the sun Perfectly executed skillfully done Wolf-man oh wolf-man oh wolf man howl Rub a dub dub its a murder most foul 4: Hush little children you?re gonna stand The Beatles are coming they?re going to hold your hand Slide down the Bannister go get your coat Ferry cross the Mersey and go for the throat There?s three bums coming all dressed in rags Pick up the pieces and order the flags I?m going to Woodstock its the Aquarian age Then I?ll go to ? and sit near the stage Put your head out the window let to good times roll There?s a party going on behind the grassy knoll 5: Stack up the bricks k , pour the cement Don?t say Dallas don?t love you Mr President Put your foot in the tank and let?s step on the gas Try to make it to the triple underpass Black faced singer white faced smile Better not show your faces after the sun goes down 6/7: I bet the red light district make a cop on the beat Living in a nightmare on elm street When your down on deep elm put your money in your shoe Don?t ask what your country can do for you Cash on the barrel head , money to burn ? Looking for some help on this one. It's a song that was written by Mike Mantecon for his Grandpa, Sheckles. A life-long UCLA Basketball fan who ain't been getting it quite his way lately. 8 bar blues that need drums, bass, lead guitar. Keeping it low and tasty for Gramps, he gots style. (I wonder what that's like)
