Try loading the track in a new project with bpm and sample rate set. If still a fault then it could be related to having tempo settings engaged. Look at the pool view of the track and check its sample rate and tempo settings to see if they comply to what you want. Is musical mode on or off? see if turning musical mode on or off makes a difference.
