Well ... I grabbed this yesterday and on a quick test it seemed pretty cool. Some great sounds in the presets without messing with any chains. Fired it up again tonight and all I can get are three settings. All the rest tell me I have to upgrade to get'em. Suppose that's all I should expect for free. Will uninstall tomorrow. Waste of time! I'll stick with all the other freebies I have that actually work. :((

Yes, I had the same experience. Even tried to activate which it did to LE but didn't do any good. The Latency was unplayable. What's that all about? I openned it as a stand alone program. I was excited for a minute though because their videos and features are pretty sweet.

figured it out. Audio Drivers on the little top right sprocket settings. It defaulted to using windows drivers. ASIO please and then scroll through the list of output drivers to pick your audio interface, didn't see the skinny scroll at first. Where is my USB-122 I don't know...oh...there's a scroll. So now that I got it to work....I'm tempted to buy. Should have let me play with more of the presets longer or do like Guitar Rig 5 and time them out after 15 minutes. I want that mean metal shredder tone....hmm. I know it's in there.

It's a light version and yeah, of course they want you to pony up for the real product. But it has some good settings - you just gotta fool with them like anything else. It's also fair to say it's better for certain styles of music. As for latency, I've never experienced any with it other than when testing the tones online, which makes sense I think. YMMV.

But the catch is ... when first installed and set up there were about 30-ish presets available. I tried out a whole bunch of them and found some exciting (to me) acoustic settings which I thought I could use. On coming back to it the next day none of these were available without a pricey upgrade! Just felt it was a con.

I also felt dirty and violated.

Since my last post here 47 minutes ago I went back to fire it up again for another look and it crashed my whole system! Full blue screen job that I've never had in the 4 years I've had this set-up. Now recovered and uninstalled. Good riddance.

Those are fun...It must have heard you talking bad about it. Spy software running in the background probably.

It's not great. Long loading times and sounds are fair. Interface is fair. Not going to keep it.

I had the lite and got the pro at a discount on a promo. (which they constantly send u emails about when you sign up) Don?t take the first promo price for pro in email though cause there are lower coming if u wait.... And yeah, the load time is faster on the pro but not instaneous. This plug does a lot though so the few times I?ve used it I thought it was worth the wait to load.

yep they are marketing geniouses ihmo. last year i had the thing happen where i really liked a preset on the lite and was using it on a project, then it was gone... in the past then i usually blow it off and stop using the tool, but this was maybe one of few times i got the full version (and became a sucker lol) mind you i am not really a guitar player, so far ive used it on keys on vox. good variety of quality stuff. for a guitar tone purist looking for a specific thing maybe not for you. but for a wide swath if quality(instead of just a few features/sounds that are good), i thought it was worth it.

Same. Pro tip: it doesn't work if you do it on mobile. (Or, at least, it didn't work for me until I switched to laptop)
