My old mate William Blake wrote this one..
The Garden of Love
I went to the Garden of Love,
And saw what I never had seen:
A Chapel was built in the midst,
Where I used to play on the green.
And the gates of this Chapel were shut,
And Thou shalt not writ over the door;
So I turned to the Garden of Love,
That so many sweet flowers bore.
And I saw it was filled with graves,
And tomb-stones where flowers should be:
And Priests in black gowns, were walking their rounds,
And binding with briars, my joys & desires.

How does it work? Do you kick it off with something, and then others react, or can anyone throw stuff in at any time? Who coordinates the bits and pieces? Sounds like fun all the same.

I'm itching to get on with this, but as Ian says, the rules are that you don't bring anything to the table that you've prepared in advance. But we can consider song titles. How about The Rockery? Or a song lauding the double cutting action of the Suffolk Punch lawnmower? No?
But I am thinking conceptually about this. For example, how about a song called 'Daffodil' that uses the chords of D, A and F? Stranger things have happenned...

Created March 20, 2019 by Mysterian
Every year since 2008 I meet up with @rolf with the ambitious goal of creating a concept album from scratch in just three days... (2 and a half if you count getting there and taking a quick stop at the Sainsburys in Keynsham for beer and crisps).
We try to plan nothing, or record nothing until the first day. We generally wrap it all up on the third.
Dates this year are 27-29 March.
The concept this year is "Into the Garden", or simply "Garden", so join up, strap in, post your ideas, pitch in and enjoy. Rock, ambient, jazz, dance, pop, folk or anything else you can think of.
Check out our previous concepts : "Sheep 2015" and "Herbs and Spices 2017".
Everyone welcome.
