I am looking for a drum replacer/soundreplacer, or a drum kit that you can add your own wav samples to and then load a midi to control the drum kit or machine. Preferably AU but VST is ok too

How many samples are we talking about? Are we talking about just a single kick, snare, hi-hat, etc.? Or are we talking multiple samples for each drum kit component, each varying according to velocity, etc?
One sample per component custom kit essentially
The Drum Source is a sampler VST with a TR606-style interface. It can also respond to MIDI. The download page looks kinda shady, but my up-to-date-and-paid-for AVG Anti-Virus software had no issues with the page, the download, or the install: http://witech.se/thedrumsource/ There's also a pic and a blurb about it here: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/thedrumsource-by-witech
Slate Trigger is good. Logic (I think you use that?) has a built in which isn't horrible. You can ramp up in cost and efficacy from there, of course. I think MeldaProductions has one. I've not used it, but while their stuff is complicated to use, it's very good. But, if you are after free, I'd check your DAW for a built in.
