Hello everyone, I just found this great site and am trying to understand how it works. I have made my first attempt at a collaboration of my own. However, I'm not sure how to approach other people's music. My lack of self-confidence makes it difficult for me to submit my contributions to others. What is the custom here? The span between happy amateurs like me and the most driven professional instrumentalist is a little scary.

Hej Bo - welcome! We are a friendly bunch - so dont be shy. Most (but certainly not all) are amateur musicians - so dont feel out of your depth. The best thing to do is just find some collaborators to work with. Best to start browsing the latest collaborations and see if there is anything there that catches your ear: https://www.kompoz.com/music/collaborate/newest Apart from that, the main community chat is a good place to see whats going on, ask questions and say hello ..... https://www.kompoz.com/music/community Have fun, and shout if you need help Ha det bra Tony
Also - there are many answers to typical questions about 'how to ....' here https://www.kompoz.com/music/helpcenter
Huge span of talent on here - and don't worry about where you are on the scale. Lots of great people here too. Don't feel rushed to start joining or making collabs. Spend some time on the board. Check out different genres and artists. Start zeroing in on the music that speaks to you and when you're ready to contribute, jump on in. Welcome aboard !!!
Thanks you! Happy to hear what a nice atmosphere it seems to be here!
LOL - there are some gumpy-gills trolling around from time to time, but overall this has been a great place w/ really cool people all having a good time making original music
gumpy-gills trolling << excellent!
I assume it's Cockney rhyming slang. That shite goes over me 'ed.
