Slate has been adding a bunch of great stuff lately. Their inclusion of Lustrous Plates, and gates now in the Virtual MIx Rack has been well worth the bundle subscription, but now today they added the Overloud THU amp plug - something I've been waiting for as I've used the TH2 and TH3 products from overloud as my amp sim for the past few years due to them having my amp modeled in it by the amp maker himself, Marco Brunetti. Very excited about the new product...now I gotta figure out how to import all my settings, lol.

I like the new reverb plugin but it keeps crashing Logics, it's the only plugin that has that effect. The roll out was pretty bad on Lustrous Plates, I'm almost afraid to load anymore new plugins.

yeah - they got surprised by the volume of people trying to download and their server was stressed. Since the gates were an internal update it was trivial. The THU stuff isn't the full version, which I didn't realize - I've had the full version of TH2 and TH3 and have many custom setups. I ended up upgrading the to the full version for $89. Had I known the slate version would not be the full, I would hav upgraded a month ago, lol. Still, it worked without a hitch. I bought their Trigger2 as well recently - half the cost of drumagog and out of the box seems to be a better experience for me anyway. Plus it's easy to generate midi from that and it wasn't clear in the drumagog manula how to do that easily - I believe it's possible.

I've had a pretty good experience with Slate plugins, it's their convoluted method of billing and downloading/authorizing that is a pain in the ass. I have to say though about Logics plugins, I probably use them as much as the Slate, I think they are actually very good.

yeah - it's gotten easier with ilok (I can't believe I said that) but I get it. But it's no worse that the East West stuff or some of the other subscription based ones I guess.

I've been a Slate Everything Bundle user for a while now. Some great stuff. I use Slate plugs on everything, and the newest additions are all wonderful, Lustrous Plates, the new Gates, and TH-U which I still haven't even gotten into yet.

I've used the TH* products for a few years. Slate just added 10 of the amp models and stuff to theirs, but as I said above I ended up upgrading my overloud version. But for the slate stuff, yeah - very happy and I use the stuff on most tracks. When I mix acoustic drums (check out my tune "This Rust" with Cory Frey on drums) I use their plugs.

The Slate stuff is all good on about everything. I use it all everywhere. I will check out the drums you mention for sure :)
