Does anyone here have experience using VST Connect by Steinberg? I've just started looking into it recently and would appreciate any quick do's/don'ts, resources, vids, etc. to shorten my learning curve. I plan to be the engineer recording on my DAW with the performer at another physical location. Critiques, cautions, suggestions and emotional speeches are welcome. My gear: Cubase Pro 10, Windows 10, ASUS Ryzen 9 laptop.

I did this for a remote recording session - I was the remote musician - but it seemed to work fine. It seemed to be important to have the 'correct/most updated' version for it to work. However - that was about a year ago - so its probably got slicker since then

I'm sure you have checked out Produce Like a Pro? It's an amazing community of Producers and engineers. I totally think it's worth the money to become an Acadamy Member. Tons of pre-recorded tracks to play with, and a lot of Feedback from users like you. Also a lot of tutorials and lessons for production. I am a member and am loving it. here is my SoundCloud account link you can check out my mixes all of them are from PLAP(Produce Like a Pro) pre-recorded tracks.
