Dubrae, Would you tell us about your song construction? I hear the marching drum beat. What are the prompts that you incorporated in your song, challenges you had, etc.?

Hey Nick I took the easy route and sampled some of the links Michael provided Don't tell Bob Dylan please I used his chord structure whatsit when layering some keys over the top The scale was again a sample from the provided links I'm not good at music theory at all and not a proper musician, just a tinkerer of sounds but tried to embrace the parameters as much as I could

You did well. So that is the Insen Scale you used with your arp? I'm currently tinkering with the Insen Scale, and much prefer it without the bvii at the end. I particularly like your (what sounds like) pads, choir, strings.

It's the b2 that's giving me trouble. I'm trying to keep it in, but only use it as a passing tone.

I sample this https://youtu.be/-n5JBstGIMA You could program an arp though? I know there are free vst arps out there you can route to any instrument but I took the shortcut

They are free vst instruments fed through heavy reverbs , (my pads n whatnot)

I'd be delighted if you wanted to jump on it, It may not be the easiest to perform over though
