Ample Sound guitars - anyone else using these? There's a "feature" that's driving me nuts!

Tried them once, but had a hard time understanding the features...
I use them. How can I help?
Thanks James. It's about how to locate a note you want to edit in the Riffer. Play through what you've done, hear a dud note, press "pause" and you go flying back to where you started playing. It's "pause-and-rewind" in reality. So you have to scroll forward looking for the dud note or try to remember the bar number then select a note just before that as your starting point. Seems to take forever to do the simplest edits. Have you cracked this yet?
I have not used the "Riffer". So I can't help you at the moment. I will try and use it and see if I have the same issue.
Tell me more about this RIFFER...
It's like a midi piano roll but it uses 6 strings instead of 88 notes. This explains... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uPO0U3t7bU
thanx, BBS
if you hit a bad note, why cant you copy the track to a new track, cut and delete everything around the 'dud' and use a pitchshifter adjusting it up or down a semi tone..as im guessing your off a half step.. then delete that section in your original.. use a lil auto vol for blending...if needed... may sound like sht but it might work.. or do like me and dont hit bad notes.. lololhalhalhalalaolaoal JOKING!
Ah, no. This is all midi programming. Not a real guitar in sight.
def out of my pay grade.. but im sure there are work around fixes can you not bounce it to a wav import it and do exactly what i suggested?
I am a keyboardist who uses the ample guitar plugin. I have no issue with it.
I have at least 200 vst plugins. All are free except for a couple. AMAZING how many free virtual instruments there are on the web! I could have 400 if I pushed it...
This guy will show you how to get the most out of Ample Guitar. Amazingly realistic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um0z40ghMAU
Another really good video on how to use Ample Guitar.... I get useful output from this VST. That said, it's still not as good as the "real" deal. However, in a mix, they are almost as good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lZ-TdW0P0Q&t=28s
