This is a bluegrass / traditional country piece I wrote when my mother was dying, last year.

When I was 4 years old I had to stay overnight in the hospital for a surgery.   I kept telling my parents "Wait, I've got something to tell you" to delay them in leaving me for the night.    I thought of this when my mother was dying.   I did not want her to go.
